You are cordially invited to participate in the 2024 Dartmoor Dash.

The event was started 11 years ago and has become a traditional opportunity to blow off the winter cobwebs and to start the riding season off with some great riding and pleasant company.

The weekend starts with a meet up at the Costa Coffee INSIDE the Tesco Exrtra superstore at Winnall on Saturday morning. From there we travel to Stonehenge where those who need to use the facilities can do so.

After a short break, it’s on to the Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford for a coffee and cake stop.

We would then drop in to Topsham Quay for a lunch stop but, as the years have gone on, this has become very gentrified and expensive so the lunch stop may be at an alternative location - updates will follow when they are finalised.

After lunch it is on to Dartmoor for the afternoon taking in some great winding roads and views before descending on the various tearooms in Princetown for tea and cake.

Finally, it’s on to our lodging for the night the YHA Bellever, set in the beautiful Bellever Forest in the Dartmoor National Park, where you will be given an evening meal; as if all that drinks and cake en-route wasn't enough.

Sunday morning, we reassemble after a full breakfast and ride across the moor making our way home.

Accommodation will be based on shared rooms; there are a number of rooms from two beds up eight and accommodation will be allocated based on the mix of people attending.

The cost of the weekend is £50 per person which will cover your accommodation, evening meal and breakfast.  Payment is required as part of the registration sign-up. Refunds, in the event of a participant cancelling, will only be possible in the event that we can find another person to take the space.

Drinks with the evening meal are not covered and you are welcome to purchase these from the bar.

Please register for the ride using the link below

Note: This is a Level 2 ride and Associates who have experience of longer distance riding and group rides are welcome.

Mileage: Approximately 200 miles
