Every Solent Sunday has an Induction session for new Associates/Members. (See below for booking options)
But, every so often, we put on extra themed sessions for anyone to participate in.
Examples of what we’ve covered recently:
- First Aid (St Johns Ambulance)
- Leading a Group Ride
- Creating a route in Basecamp
- Participating in the ACU’s annual National Road Rally
We will be running each of these again in the future, but if you’ve got a skill that you believe would be helpful to other Members, let us know and we can discuss the content and plan a date.

If you enjoy your FREE Taster Ride you can buy the Advanced Rider Course directly from the IAM, online or by telephone (0300 303 1134)

Coaching
You will be allocated to a qualified observer, just like the observer who took you for the Taster Ride. They will coach you through the Advanced Rider course

Test
Pass the IAM Test - Conducted by an independent local assessor
